DGL Engineering is a small machine shop for bespoke one-offs, repeated orders, modifications and repairs. We utilise CAD, milling, turning and 3D printing to provide cost effective solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of your business.

With an understanding of technical drawings and specifications, we excel in fulfilling client requirements, building and maintaining prototypes, and adhering to quality standards. We are dedicated to providing technical solutions efficiently and effectively, ensuring the best outcomes for every project.

About the Owner:

With over 11 years of hands-on experience as a toolmaker, I’ve worked across a variety of prestigious companies, including Cosworth (where I completed my apprenticeship), Cummins, Caterpillar, and Perkins Engines. Throughout my career, I've gained extensive knowledge in prototyping, problem-solving, and designing innovative solutions.

I founded DGL Engineering because I believe in the value of repair and innovation—it's far better to fix something than to simply discard it. My experience in engineering and problem-solving drives me to continuously develop new ideas and methods, ensuring that every project we take on reflects both quality craftsmanship and a commitment to sustainability.
